I forgot my password
Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. The reset link works for one hour. No email after a few minutes? Check your spam folder, then write to us.
My account is waiting for approval
New accounts are approved by hand. You'll get an email when yours is.
Signing out other devices
On your Profile page, Sign out everywhere signs out every browser and phone signed in to your account. Changing your password does the same.
Deleting your account
Email hello@carboncharts.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We remove your account, workspace, alerts, scripts, chart images, chat and direct messages, and notification devices, normally within 7 days; see the privacy policy for details.
Alerts and notifications
My alert didn't fire
Open the Alerts tab: a paused alert says why under it (for example while price data isn't reaching the server, or the market is closed). “Crosses above” and “crosses below” fire when price goes through the level after you set the alert; “is above” and “is below” fire whenever the condition holds. An alert set to Only once stops after it fires; Restart switches it on again.
Notifications on my phone or computer
In the Alerts tab, Notify this device sends your alerts to that browser even with CarbonCharts closed. On an iPhone or iPad, add CarbonCharts to your Home Screen first (Share → Add to Home Screen) and turn it on in the installed app. Signing out turns notifications off for that device. Use Send a test to check it works.
Alert emails
Tick Email me on an alert. Each account gets at most 50 alert emails a day.
Charts and data
A chart won't load
Your browser downloads prices directly from the exchanges, so a network, firewall or regional block on an exchange stops its charts (for example, Binance and Bybit don't answer some US connections). The message on the chart says which source failed; another exchange's version of the pair usually works.
Stocks, ETFs, forex and commodities
They come from our market data provider through our server, nothing to set up: search for them as for crypto (AAPL, EUR/USD, XAU/USD). A symbol that says it isn't available isn't offered here.
